George Beard makes England U15s!

7th Jul 2009: After a great season with Solent Kestrels U15s team George Beard has capped the year of by making the England U15 Basketball squad. George has worked hard all season to try and improve his game, he helped lead the Kestrels U15s to final fours both this year and last despite being a year younger than other players in the team. George also earned himself the MVP award at this years Solent kestrels presentation night.

George has done excellently cracking into this very strong squad and the Solent Kestrels would like to say well done and good luck! If George continues in this squad he could make the U16 team for the European championships next year!

George - well done! Keep up the hard work, you see when you work hard the breaks will come for you! Well deserved!
