Portsmouth City Smugglers v Hackney White Heat
6pm Tip Off - Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth

Portsmouth Smugglers start 2010 with renewed vigour after 3 consecutive wins, lifting the team back into playoff contention. The Smugglers are still short of their potential but are keen to develop over the second half of the season to not only make the playoffs but to secure a good seeding. In the team's favour is that of the 9 remaining fixtures 7 of these are to be played at home, where the team is yet to lose in any competition. Portsmouth currently sit in 5th place with a 5-4 record but are only 2 wins behind Oxford in second. An area the Smugglers will be looking to change is the ability to close out games as 3 of the 4 defeats have been lost by less than 5 points.
When Portsmouth and Hackney met at the start of the season the Smugglers secured a 94-70 win. Portsmouth were led by Andy Aung (28pts), Owen Teesdale (25pts) and Ben Gray (14pts) and will be hoping for a similar performance on Saturday.
