Andy Salmon makes All District Team
14th Feb 2010: At the District Final in Mississippi last night the All District Team was announced and Andy Salmon was named as one of 4 guards. This is a big deal in the states and players who make these teams will usually go on to play college ball at a high level. One of the players that was also named from the Merdian team in Mississippi is destined for the NBA, so you can see the standard of play.
Jimmie Guymon head Coach of Kestrels programme said ' It is a huge achievement, Andy has done a great job this year, we are extremely proud of him'
Andy will now finish High School and look at all of his option in the USA and England . He has U20 England trials this summer so will be back later in the Summer.
