BRIGGS BACK FOR ANOTHER SEASON WITH KESTRELS

Ash Briggs is back in the number 15 jersey for Solent Kestrels ahead of the 2025/26 NBL Division 1 season. The 6’8 forward continues his stay after another impressive season that saw him lead the front line for the Kestrels as they claimed both league and playoff titles.

This marks Ash’s third season in a row back with Solent after a brief stint away from the club, where he will be looking to continue his run of good form from the past two seasons. The do it big man contributed across the board last season with a number of double digit scoring performances, whilst also being 2nd in assists for the team, displaying his facilitating abilities.

The homegrown Kestrel posted averages of 7.9 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 4 apg throughout last seasons campaign.

Ash added, “I can’t wait for another season at Solent Kestrels, a club I’ve been playing for since a junior. It’s always a pleasure to represent the club and I’m excited to see what the season brings along with the support of our incredible fans. GO KESTRELS!”
