KESTRELS KEEP ELITE WINLESS WITH VICTORY AT THE SSC

2026 TIPS OFF WITH A TOUGH ROAD WIN FOR KESTRELS AT BARKING
Image Courtesy of Dan Crowther Solent Kestrels made a strong return from the Christmas break as they opened 2026 with a composed 71–59 victory on the road at Barking Abbey on Saturday afternoon, pulling away in the second half of a low-scoring NBL Division 1 game. Andre Arissol led all scorers with 25 points for the Kestrels, supported by a well-rounded performance from Luke Busumbru with 15 points 7 boards and 4 assists, whilst Jakub Ofman added 12 on his return from injury.


NATIONAL CUP FINAL AWAITS KESTRELS AFTER SEMI FINAL TRIUMPH OVER BCU

Backed by a vocal home crowd, the Kestrels combined defensive discipline with balanced scoring to pull clear early and never looked back. KESTRELS BOUNCE BACK IN FINAL LEAGUE GAME OF 2025

The win is the second victory for Solent over the Titans this season and improves Kestrels to 7-2 in NBL Division 1 for the season. ETHAN ROUND SECURES DRAMATIC VICTORY FOR KESTRELS

In what was a relatively low scoring game, both sides had the lead through out but it was an Ethan Round triple with 0.9 seconds left that decided the game.
