Solent Kestrels Rebrand Announcement

We are proud to unveil the new identity of ‘Solent Kestrels’, following a thorough and robust rebrand across the club.

As part of this exciting new chapter we have evolved from Team Solent Kestrels back to simply Solent Kestrels, a name that better reflects our identity, heritage and ambitions as one of the region's leading basketball clubs.

At the heart of the rebrand is a new club brand & logo carefully designed to celebrate our rich basketball history while recognising the invaluable support of our main sponsor, Kestrel Guards, whose partnership has played a significant role in the club's continued growth and success and who we’re proud to continue this journey with together.

The club has also introduced a refreshed colour scheme for both its brand logo’s and playing kit. The return of ‘Carolina Blue’ pays tribute to the original Solent Kestrels colours and honours the history and heritage of where the club began. This is complemented by red which represents the strongest colour of the past decade of success, achievement and progression within the national leagues.

This rebrand has been shaped through a comprehensive consultation process involving players, coaches, volunteers and stakeholders from across the club. Their feedback and passion for the Solent Kestrels identity have helped create a brand that respects our past while looking confidently towards the future.

The result is a modern, distinctive and meaningful identity that reflects who we are, where we have come from and where we are going. We are incredibly proud to launch the new ‘Solent Kestrels’ brand and look forward to seeing our teams represent it with pride both on and off the court. We are also pleased to be able to announce our new leisurewear partners, VX3, who we have chosen to work alongside for the next 3 years to provide all club playing kit and ‘off the court’ attire. We’re excited to develop this relationship with a reputable business who are doing great things in the sportswear sector and really understand our needs as a large club.
